Accessibility Statement
Updated: 11/29/2025
1. Our Commitment to Inclusion
As a Colorado native and advocate for under-served populations, I believe that access is a basic human right. Whether we are talking about affordable housing, public parks, or this website, no one should be locked out because of a barrier we failed to remove.
I kn We are stronger together than divided. That includes ensuring people with disabilities—visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive—can fully engage with our message and resources. My goal is to provide a "hand up" by making information accessible to everyone.
2. Conformance Status
We are actively working to ensure this website complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Just as I adhere to strict safety codes in my trade as an electrician, I am committed to adhering to digital "codes" that keep this space safe and usable.
3. Measures We Are Taking
To ensure accessibility, we are taking the following steps:
-
Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring the site can be navigated without a mouse.
-
Text Alternatives: Providing "alt text" for images so screen readers can describe the visuals to users who are blind or visually impaired.
-
Clear Contrast: Using color combinations that are easy to read for those with low vision.
-
Simple Language: Avoiding unnecessary jargon and keeping language clear and direct.
4. Honest Feedback & Continuous Learning
I have stated that "I don't give up, and I'm always learning." This applies to this website, too.
I understand that technology evolves and that gaps may still exist. If you encounter a barrier on this site, or if you need any content provided in a different format, please tell me. I am not afraid to ask the hard questions or receive constructive criticism.
If you find an issue, please contact us:

5. Third-Party Platforms
Sometimes we link to other organizations, non-profits, or social media platforms to help our community. Please note that I cannot control the accessibility of those external sites, but I will always push for better standards wherever I have a voice.
